Sunday 2/8 – Join us at 1982, 919 W. University Ave., for a bake sale (holy fucking shit!  delicious baked goods!) and show featuring Gainesville Liberation Orchestra, Making Eyes & the Toy Tambourine, Waylon Thornton & the Heavy Hands, and Three Legged Dawg.

6 PM – $5/$7.

Friday 2/13 – Join us at The Atlantic for the WGOT FIRST ANNIVERSARY BENEFIT SHOW AND CD RELEASE PARTY. This show will be a mind blowing multi-genre extravaganza featuring The Damn Wrights, Grabass Charlestons, DP, Bean$, and Sarcastic.

Doors @ 9 PM – $6/$8. Be the first one to own an official compilation CD from WGOT featuring local musicians – only $5.

In an ongoing effort to bring it to the people, I decided to let WordPress whore herself out to me and pay for her services.  But it was done for the sake of kedushah, to reveal just a little more light into the world, to aid in the global consciousness shift towards love and unity and Jewish music that you mamash feel down in the kishkes.

Thus, I give you the first episode of Shir Bliss.  Still not sure when it will be aired, and it may not sound anything like this once it makes it to the radio waves, but the music will all be the same, so the basic idea is still there.  Happy listening, chevra.

Praise The Name!  The first Shir Bliss has been uploaded.  I’ll let you know when it will be aired soon.  In the meantime, here is the playlist for the first show.  I was going to upload the first show in its entirety onto this post and then proceed to chastise you all for not supporting local radio and undermining the very idea of broadcast radio, but it appears as though WordPress wants to charge me to put my music on my webpage.  So I guess all of you who need your Jewish music fix will have to wait until the show airs.  Stay tuned and stay holy, chevre.

Shir Bliss strives to play music that lifts your soul and assaults your ears, or at the very least trys to convince you that klezmer music isn’t all that bad.
